David Blaine | Magician and stuntman Blaine's TED Talk About Holding Breath For 17 Mins

David Blaine Wiki:

David Blaine (born David Blaine White; April 4, 1973) is an American illusionist and endurance artist. He is best known for his high-profile feats of endurance, and has made his name as a performer of street and close-up magic He has set and broken several world records. Theatre owner James Nederlander as well as The New York Times have referred to Blaine as a modern day Houdini.

Magician and stuntman Blaine's TED Talk About Holding Breath For 17 Mins:

Magician and stuntman David Blaine considers what he does to not only be works of art but also personal challenges to prove that what ‘can’t’ be done really can.

I grew up with many magicians who were either lounge lizard types who combined magic with comedy or stuffy types with wardrobe closets bigger than my house.

It is both refreshing and intriguing to see people like David Blaine who turn what they do from performance art into something that is almost spiritual in feeling.

Of course, it is pretty needless to say that you shouldn’t try anything even close to anything he has done by yourself.

Paul -The Octopus Predicts World Cup Winners | Octopus Prediction Videos Watch Online |

Paul the 'Oracle Octopus' was at first a cool German gimmick who picked World Cup games by plucking a mussel from glass boxes that are marked with a nation's flag. Now that Germany has beaten Argentina to put Paul's record at World Cup picking at 5-0? That Octopus is scaring me, dude.

Paul the octopus oracle in Germany has done it again -- correctly predicting that Germany would beat Argentina in their quarter-final clash at the weekend. That makes his prediction record in the World Cup perfect.

Video following the jump.

First, he tipped Germany to beat Australia, and then followed it up by correctly predicting Serbia's upset victory over Germany. Paul then went on to call a German win against Ghana and made waves across the English Channel when he foresaw Germany taking down England.

The Octopus may be psychic but it's probably not that intelligent. If he were smart he'd have backed up his claims with thousand-clam soccer bets that would provide he and his family security for generations. When humans are granted psychic powers, we know how to parlay our abilities into millions. Just look at Miss Cleo.

By the way, when that octopus is done with the World Cup can I borrow him for a few days? I would like to exploit him with the stock market. We can split the earnings, Paul.

Dhoni Wedding Videos | MS Dhoni Marriage Videos Watch Online | Mahendra Singh Dhoni Wedding Videos Marriage Video | Sakshi Singh Rawat wedding Marriage Photos Videos

Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is set to tie the knot with fiancee Sakshi Rawat at a very private affair on the outskirts of Dehradun Sunday evening, a day after the couple's hush-hush engagement.

The mahurat, or auspicious time, for the wedding has been fixed for 8.35 p.m. and the venue is a country villa owned by former Rajasthan chief minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Vasundhara Raje, a highly-placed source told IANS.

The country villa is on the Dehradun-Chakrata road, 20 km away from the place where his engagement was held Saturday, at Bhagirath resort.

The media is being kept far away. The hordes of media persons and television OB vans gathered there is not being allowed to proceed by private security guards, around more than one and a half kilometre from the venue, the source said.

Director General of Police Uttarakhand, Subhash Joshi told IANS that he too has not been invited. "I have not got an invite. They are taking the assistance of local police."

"They want to have their privacy and we don't want to encroach on it," he said.

Among the cricketers who have arrived are Harbhajan Singh, Ashish Nehra and R.P. Singh. Among Bollywood personalities, John Abraham is reported to have reached the venue.

The girl's cousin Abhilasha Bhisht, a Deputy Inspector General of Police who is on deputation on an UN assignment, belongs to the place, said a source.

Dhoni has been reported to have visited Dehradun and Mussoori frequently over the last two years. The girl's father and Dhoni's father were working together in Ranchi. Her grandfather, a retired divisional forest officer, lives in Dehradun.

Netherlands vs Slovakia - FIFA World Cup 2010 | Netherlands vs Slovakia Watch Online

World Cup Preview: Netherlands - Slovakia

Can Slovakia Surprise Again...

Without making too much of a fuss, Holland are quietly emerging as one of the forces of this World Cup. Only Argentina can match their record of having won all their group games and each performance has been slightly better than their last, which is a good guide when it comes to picking teams that will travel a long way in a tournament. The 2-1 win over Cameroon in Cape Town may have been a dead game but it allowed Arjen Robben nearly 20 minutes on the pitch and the Bayern Munich playmaker’s influence was obvious and when it came to hitting the post for Klaas Jan Huntelaar to drive home the winner, decisive. It was his first game since a hamstring injury in a World Cup warm-up with Hungary and his manager, Bert van Marwijk may resist the temptation to start him against Slovakia – if they get through Brazil are likely to be waiting for them in Port Elizabeth for the quarter-finals.

Nazril Ariel Ilham Sex Scandal Video | Watch Online | Indonesian Pop star Nazril Ariel Ilham Sex Scandal Video

Indonesian police have arrested pop star Nazril "Ariel" Ilham for his involvement in sex videos that allegedly feature himself and two other top Indonesian celebrities.

The singer was named a suspect after the police questioned the three celebrities and expert witnesses over the last two weeks.

"We have determine that Ariel is a suspect in the sex video case, we charged him with the pornography law and with the 2008 electronic information and transaction law," said Marwoto Sutowijoyo, from national police public information.

Ariel will be the first high-profile offender of the controversial pornography law that carries a maximum penalty of 12 years.

"We will keep investigating the case and we will arrest the perpetrators once we have enough evidence," Marwoto added.

Alleged celebrity sex tape shocks modest Indonesia

The law and the incident has also revived the government's nationwide censorship plan to filter offensive content on the internet.

"The Ministry of Communication have long been proposing a decree on multimedia content, this is to prevent this kind of things from happening," said Gatot Dewa Broto, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Communications.

If passed, the ministry will create a special unit that will monitor the content in online media and will have the authority to censor anything without consulting any other bodies, he explains.

The first video, allegedly featuring Ariel and his current girlfriend Luna Maya, surfaced on several websites and went viral through social networking sites Facebook and Twitter.

On Tuesday, after the release of the second video allegedly featuring Ariel and Tari, the term "Ariel Peterporn," a spin on the singer's name and his band, became a top trending topic on Twitter.

The videos have sparked protests by conservative Islamic groups and others around the country condemning the celebrities in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, raids on internet cafes and the search of student cellphones at schools -- both confirmed by police -- have raised fears among defenders of free speech.
