Government is gearing up to maintain law and order on 24-September-2010 when the judgement in the Ram Janma Bhoomi - Babri Masjid case is expected to be delivered.
The Special Bench of High Court of Allahabad in the four title suits, involving the Ram Janma Bhumi - Babri Masjid in Ayodhya, is scheduled to be delivered on Friday, 24 September 2010.
In view of the sensitivity of the case, P. Chidambaram, the Union Home Minister, has issued a statement in which he has appealed to everyone including parties to the suit, the general public and the media to reserve their opinion on the judgement and not make any hasty pronouncements.
The Ministry of Communication & Information Technology has issued orders today imposing a 72-hour banning all bulk SMS and MMS is all services areas with immediate effect.
The state governments have been advised to take adequate steps to maintain law and order.
Last week on 16-Sept-2010, Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of the country has already, on behalf the Union Cabinet, appealed to all sections of the society to maintain peace and order after the delivery of the judgement.
