Khatta Meetha (Hindi: खट्टा मीठा Hindi for "Sour Sweet" ) is a  Hindi movie directed by Priyadarshan which will star Akshay Kumar & Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles. It will be a satirical comedy film. Khatta Meetha is scheduled to be released on July 23, 2010.[1] The Movie will have 6 songs by Pritam.
Khatta Meeta is a remake of the 1989 Malayalam film, Vellanakalude Nadu, scripted by Sreenivasan, also directed by Priyadarshan and starring Mohanlal, Shobana, Nedumudi Venu, Sreenivasan etc
Synopsis:

Trisha Krishnan: Gehna GanpuleShe plays a role of a Commissioner of the city in the same city Phaltan. She is mature and objective in their work, and does not allow corruption.
Samarkand Deshpande: BhagatAzad Azad Bhagat, the wife of a common manand his son died in an accident at the bridge. He believes that the bridge collapsed due to poor construction. It is an honest man who understands politics and wants the criminals behind this fraud to detect.
