Two journalists from a Norwegian newspaper were arrested Wednesday after snapping pictures at a New York estate where Chelsea Clinton is rumoured to be holding her wedding on July 31.
Thomas Bjorn Nilsson, 43, of New York, and Kjerste Sortland, 41, of Snorova, Norway, were arrested at 2 p.m. at the picturesque Astor Estate, about 150 km north of New York City, reports the Huffington Post.
They were there because of rumours Chelsea Clinton, daughter of former president Bill Clinton and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, is going to get married there.
"We did not realize it was forbidden to take the picture of the gate of the house where the Clinton wedding is to be," Helje Solberg, managing editor of the newspaper Verdens Gang, told the Huffington Post.
Nevertheless, the paper said it will pay the trespassing fine.
