Heavy rain continued to lash parts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry as the low pressure still persisted over Bay of Bengal with weathermen predicting more downpours in the region tomorrow.

"Yesterday's low pressure area now lies as a well marked low pressure area over west central Bay off Andhra coast. Under its influence rain would occur at many places especially coastal areas of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry during the next 24 hours," MeT officials said here.

Due To That Schools and Colleges will be closed In Kanniyakumari District(Announced Officially)
