Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) announced the auction / allotment list for its newly built Aerocity Township but still it has not taken the clearance from the Union Ministry of Environment and Forests. Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) has launched the allotment in it’s 1000 acres township, Aerocity Township and the list of the members who have been alloted the plots of different sized through the different nationalized or private banks.
Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) has updated the list of the members who have been alloted the plots in the Aerocity township. At the same time they have received the notice from the Union Ministry of Environment and Forests, northern regional office for not taking the environment clearance for its mega project.
According to the Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) notification, it is gross violation of the Environment Protection Act, 1986 if without obtaining prior environmental clearance from the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) or Union Ministry of Environment and Forests the starting the development of the any township or group housing project.
