American actress Tichina Rolanda Arnold was born on June 28, 1971 in Queens, New York. She appeared as Pamela James on the Fox sitcom Martin and gained so much fame. Not only had this viewer also liked her as matriarch Rochelle on Everybody Hates Chris. After that she made appearance on the television series One on One as Nicole Barnes.

Arnold was born to a middle class family and her mother was working in a sanitation department. Tichina Rolanda Arnold studied at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. She was so much brilliant and when she was eight year old her mother asked her to audition. With her efforts she won a part in a play at the Billie Holiday Theater. It was her first play after that she continued working for the theater and in 1983 she started working on television with a permanent role on the soap opera Ryan’s Hope. Her role as Zena Brown earned a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for her in 1988. She continuously worked till the end of the series in January 1989.
Arnold owns a designer headgear company “China Moon Rags.” Her friends Vivica A. Fox, Regina King, Tisha Campbell and Janet Jackson have been modeled for her company. Currently she lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her daughter Alijah Kai.
