On the occasion of launching Audio for the Tamil Conference, TMS told the audience about his first encounter with ARR.

TMS said "For my radio programes, it was TR Pappa who used to conduct the music. On one day I was shocked to find a 9 year old boy infront of the keyboard and the pose and position of the boy made me to understand that he is going to play it.  I was shocked to learn this.  I called Pappa and questioned why a little boy is assinged this job and that too I being a leading singer. Pappa repleid me that the boy is well talented. I asked the boy to play keybord for the song "Ulagam Piranthathu yenakkaaga..."  I was happy and satisfied as the boy who played the keyboard did magics in it and was better than that of MSV's who did the original!"
